Performance Air Cleaner

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove plastic wrapping and paper advertising from the filter
before operating.
2. Place the filter in the filter holder with the arrows, printed on the side
of the filter, facing the air cleaner.
3. Make sure that the rear cover is securely in place.
1. Never insert fingers, pencils, or other foreign objects through
the grill.
2. Disconnect air cleaner when moving it from one location to another.
3. Be sure that the air cleaner is on a stable surface when operating
to avoid the chance of it overturning.
4. Disconnect air cleaner when removing housing parts for cleaning.
Reinstall parts before reconnecting to power supply.
5. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or
personal injury:
a) Do not use this air cleaner with any solid-state speed control device.
b) Unplug air cleaner from electrical power supply before cleaning
or servicing.
c) If you disassemble your air cleaner, completely reassemble
before plugging into outlet.
d) Do not expose to water or rain.
6. Do not use air cleaner outdoors.
7. Do not use air cleaner where combustible gases or vapors are
present.
8. DO NOT place air cleaner near curtains or other obstacles that may
block air flow.
9. DO NOT USE IN DAMP LOCATIONS.
10.WARNING: Not intended for industrial ventilation of V.O.C.s - as
used in painting, paint fumes, mist,etc.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do
not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
1. Remove the feet from the cardboard holder on top of the air cleaner.
2. Remove the air cleaner and filter assembly from carton.
3. Remove adhesive tape from the bottom of the filter holder.
4. Remove filter from filter holder.
5. Remove plastic wrapping and paper advertising from the filter.
6. Place Air Cleaner with front side facing down. Attach feet to the
BACK OF AIR CLEANER in the following manner:
a) Push hook on the front of the FOOT into the BOTTOM SLOT on
the underside of the unit. (FIGURE 1A)
b) Pivot up. (FIGURE 1B)
c) Snap into place. (FIGURE 1B)
7. Install FILTER into the FILTER HOLDER (FIGURE 2).
Be sure the air filter wire faces you.
Be sure the arrow, printed on the side of the filter, is facing the air cleaner, to ensure the maximum benefits of the air cleaner.
Turn the CLIPS, (see INSERT 2A)on the left and
right side of the filter holder, to secure the filter into place.
Be sure the air filter wire faces you.
8. Place the BOTTOM OF THE FILTER HOLDER into the recessed area of the foot.
9. Push the filter holder towards the air cleaner. (FIGURE 3A).

10.When the filter meets the back of the air cleaner, lock the
tabs down, on the top rear of the filter holder. (FIGURE 3B).
1. Be sure the Air Cleaner Control Knob
is in the "OFF" (0) position.
2. Plug the Air Cleaner into any standard
120V AC household outlet.
3. Place the Air Cleaner in a place where
the performance will not be obstructed.
4. This Air Cleaner is effective whether
it is facing towards or away from you.
5. Turn the Air Cleaner "ON" by using the
control knob on top of the unit. Adjust
to desired speed: High (3), Medium (2),
OR Low (1).(FIGURE 4)
6. This Air Cleaner can be used as a
Fan without the filter.
The Air Cleaner will remove debris and particles based on the type
and rating of the filter used. Replacement Allergy and Charcoal Air Filters are available by calling us at 1 (800) 321-1096. Refer to the enclosed Filter Selection Information Sheet for detailed information regarding your selection.

SHOULD ACCESSORY PARTS BE NEEDED, CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER FOR IN-WARRANTY REPLACEMENT PARTS. A COPY OF PROOF OF PURCHASE MUST BE INCLUDED ALONG WITH THE TYPE AND STYLE, WHICH IS LOCATED ON THE BOTTOM OF YOUR APPLIANCE.
This product is warranted for one year from the date of purchase against defects in
workmanship and/or materials. At our option, parts that prove to be
defective will either be repaired or replaced or the whole product will be replaced.
Should electrical or mechanical repair become necessary during the warranty period, please
call Customer Service for assistance.
Should a part need replacement, you must give us the type and style of your appliance. You
will find this at the bottom of the appliance. In either case, a
copy of your proof-of-purchase is requested.
This warranty does not apply if the damage occurs because of accident, improper handling
or operation, shipping damage, abuse, misuse, unauthorized
repairs made or attempted, of the use of the product for commercial service.
ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, LAST FOR ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL
PURCHASE. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT
COVER LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long any implied warranty lasts, or the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so that the
above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific
legal rights. You may also have rights which vary from state to state.
